Crib Rentals Damage Policy
Coastal Baby Rentals provides only the best equipment for your children, but unfortunately have recently had some problems with excessive damage. To avoid damage or cleaning charges, which range from $50-$200 dollars, please read and follow these guidelines:- Once the crib has been set up, please do not move it. If you need to, ask how to properly dismantle and move the crib, or watch the crib demonstration video at www.coastalbabyrentals.com. Moving the crib without properly being shown how can cause damage.
- If you must move the equipment, PLEASE DO NOT GRAB OR LIFT USING THE TOP RAILS OF THE CRIB. Use the widest part of the crib, which are the 4 slats at each corner of the crib, placing your hands at least 4-5 inches lower than the top of the crib.
- If you try and dismantle the crib yourself, PLEASE do not forget to undo the 2 safety latches located on the short sides of the cribs, towards the bottom. If these are left latched and you force the ends closed, it ruins the hardware and the wood it's drilled into.
- TEETH MARKS ARE CONSIDERED DAMAGE. If your child(ren) are teething or like to chew on their cribs, please bring crib guards, or rent a set from us for an additional $15.00. To check availability, email Stephanie@coastalbabyrentals.com.
- Please wipe/clean all spilled milk off of crib or an additional $25 cleaning fee will apply. Milk or formula, once it hardens on the wood, is very difficult to remove.
