 About Stephanie Frith, Owner

Born on the California coast, Stephanie spent much of her life traveling, both in the United States and abroad. Her career brought her to New York in 2001, and several years later she settled down in New Jersey to start a family. When the time came to take her infant daughter across the country in April 2008, she realized how different traveling had become now that she was a parent - and discovered the baby equipment rental industry. During the next few months and many long-distance trips later, she performed extensive research on the best products on the market today for the traveling family. She also spoke to many different baby equipment rental companies during the remainder of 2008, so she could create a company with the best products, best practices and best services available. In early 2009, Stephanie launched Coastal Baby Rentals, a baby and toddler equipment rental company offering the same premium products and services she herself wanted for her family while on the road.

Something else that was important to Stephanie was finding a way to give back to her local community. In August 2009 she sponsored Operation Wishing Baby Well, her first-ever baby equipment drive. Her original goal was to have at least 250 essential items (cribs, high chairs, strollers, etc..) donated, to be distributed to local families need. She surpassed this goal by more than doubling it, and over 500 items were donated. The amazing success of Operation Wishing Baby Well helped many local families who desperately need these items, and she is already looking forward to making this an annual event.

Today, Stephanie has partnerships with some of the best baby and toddler equipment rental companies in business, and is always on the lookout for new and innovative products to add to her inventory. The original company who started her on this journey, Baby's Away, still works with her often, and remembers when she first started inquiring about creating Coastal Baby Rentals."Back in April of 2008, Stephanie was so excited to bring something special to this business, and she really has."
