Q. Why choose Coastal Baby Rentals?
A. As a mom who travels frequently to see my own family, I wanted to create a company that offers the absolute best equipment on the market today for families traveling to the Jersey Shore. Coastal Baby Rentals provides everything I wanted for my own family while away from home, with a focus on excellent products and excellent service. I provide the same brands of baby and toddler equipment for rentals that I use at home with my own daughter, and truly want to make your stay at the Jersey Shore as care-free as possible. I am confident your little travelers will be as comfortable away from home as they are at home, and guarantee your satisfaction!

Q. What type of discounts do you offer?

Q. What towns at the Jersey Shore do you deliver to?
A. We provide our premium baby equipment rental products to the following New Jersey towns: Avon, Bay Head, Belmar, Bradley Beach, Brielle, Brick, Freehold, Jackson, Lake Como, Lavallette, Manasquan, Mantaloking, Normandy Beach, Point Pleasant, Ocean Beach, Ocean Grove, Ortley Beach, Sea Girt, Seaside Heights, Spring Lake, Toms River and Wall Township. PLUS due to overwhelming demand, we just expanded our baby equipment rental services to include Ocean City, NJ and select surrounding areas.

Q. How does the delivery of your equipment work?
A. Coastal Baby Rentals is known for our outstanding customer service, and we do our best to cater to you, our customer, to ensure this process suits your schedule. In the summer months, deliveries typically happen between 1-5pm, and pick ups are in the morning between 8-10am. Depending on the delivery location, we assess a $20-$50 fee, which includes delivery, set up, a tutorial on all equipment, and pick up. The day before your scheduled delivery, we call you to review all your rental equipment details, where we are delivering to, and confirm the time you requested for delivery. The day of delivery we arrive and set up all rental items, then provide a thorough tutorial on each item to ensure you are comfortable on how to use the equipment. We also provide suggestions for family-friendly activities in your area, and make sure you know the best places in your Jersey Shore town that your children will enjoy! The day of your departure, we arrive at the scheduled time, pick up all equipment, provide our returning customer discount coupon for your next trip to the Jersey Shore, and thank you for your business. It's that easy for you to travel to the Jersey Shore with your family!

Q. Is there a delivery fee for Ocean City? If so, what is it?
A. There is a flat rate $30 delivery, set up and pick up charge. The driver comes in and sets up the crib, and breaks it down at the end of your rental as well. Please watch the crib rental video on the home page for a demonstration. For other areas like Stone Harbor, Avalon and Cape May, the fees are a little higher.

Q. I prefer breathable bumpers for my child - do you offer those?
A. Due to popular demand, we have added breathable bumpers to our inventory. Just ask - we will cater to your needs and preferences.

Q. What forms of payment does Coastal Baby Rentals accept?
A. We accept Visa, MasterCard, cash or check for your convenience.

Q. Does Coastal Baby Rentals offer Gift Certificates?
A. Yes, we do! Give the gift of convenience for your loved ones - this is a very popular and unique gift for your friends or family members who travel to the Jersey Shore.

Q. Are there any other services other than rentals that you provide?
A. Yes, we want to make your trip as hassle-free as possible and have been called "Coastal Baby Rentals Concierge" by some of our customers. Do you need diapers, wipes, bottles or baby food? These items and others can be purchased for you, and we deliver them along with your equipment. Everything you need can be waiting for you upon your arrival.

Q. Is there a minimum order that I need to make?
A. No, we do not have minimums orders. We can accommodate same day requests as well - just give us a call!

Q. Where do you deliver?
A. We just expanded our delivery areas for our crib rental and other products to include Ocean City, NJ and surrounding areas such as Somers Point, Brigantine, Cape May and more. We will deliver to private residences, hotels, bed and breakfasts and condos.

Q. How far in advance do I need to place my order?
A. To ensure availability, we suggest you place your order as soon as your travel plans are confirmed. We do understand that sometimes plans can not be made until the last minute so we will do our best to accommodate your schedule and needs.

Q. How new is your rental equipment?
A. All our premium baby and toddler rental equipment has been purchased new by Coastal Baby Rentals. We are meticulous in maintaining our products, which are thoroughly sanitized and checked for wear and tear after each and every rental. When any damage or wear is noted, we immediately replace the product. Our gently used equipment is always donated to Operation Wishing Baby Well, and distributed by the Yoga and U Foundation to families in need in our local community. Q. How is your baby equipment cleaned?
A. We always use non-toxic and environmentally friendly cleaning products to maintain ultra-clean, hygienic, and health-conscious equipment for your children. All our products are thoroughly and meticulously cleaned after each and every use, and we always ask ourselves "Would I want my own child to use this product?" before we deliver it to you.

Q. What is your cancellation policy?
A. Cancellation outside of 72 hours will not be charged. Orders cancelled after that time period will be charged 50% of ordering costs, which we apply to your future rentals.

Q. Does Coastal Baby Rentals give back to their local community? If so, how?
A. From the day Coastal Baby Rentals opened it's doors, we have been a leader and innovator in our industry - not just with our business, but with our involvement in our local community as well. Stephanie Frith, owner and operator of Coastal Baby Rentals, has partnerships with several local non-profit, family-focused organizations. This past summer she launched her first-ever Operation Wishing Baby Well Baby Gear Drive, asking her local community to donate their used baby equipment to the Yoga and U Foundation, a non-profit organization based in Point Pleasant, committed to helping families in need. Over 500 baby essentials were collected and distributed to local moms, dads and children who needed it the most. Stephanie also volunteers her time as a member of the Brielle Education Foundation, a local organization committed to supporting specific projects and programs that will stimulate a higher level of excellence in the Brielle School District and mobilize community support and involvement. Q. How does your Try and Buy program work? I love BOB Joggers, but I hate spending the money if myself or my child(ren) are not happy with it.
A. As a mom myself, I discovered my favorite pieces of equipment by going through several different brands and/or models first, and you end up with alot of equipment you don't even use! I want to help other moms/dads like myself wherever possible, and this was one way I thought I could. I became an authorized dealer for BOB for Coastal Baby Rentals, so I could offer the BEST joggers on the market today (in my opinion) in my inventory. I thought why not create an offer to let my customers try them first, and if they love them as much as I do, I can not only order a brand new one for you, but credit your rental price towards your purchase of a brand new BOB. This has become an increasingly popular option for parents who use Coastal Baby Rentals - so try it before you buy it!

Q. Do you install car seats?
A. We are not authorized to install car seats. Manuals are available for all of our products, upon request. We also recommend that you visit our local fire stations and arrange their help with installation.
